The name Recherché means carefully sought out and represents the best of the distillery's incredible inventory of mature stock. Just 632 bottles were made of this rare single malt.

Tasting Notes from Celtic Whiskey Shop and Wines on the Green
Nose
Lovely balance. Clean, fresh, with remarkable fruitiness. Juicy sweet sultanas, dates and marrons glacés centrally positioned around a bitter chocolate heart.
Palate
Initial profile of freshly roasted coffee beans and a treacle tart character. This is succeeded with baked apples smothered with brown sugar. Brilliant structure with no dominant force but with plenty of depth and length.
Colour
Dense antique mahogany with a cherry wood influence.
